We became pregnant with our 1st born a little before we decided to start trying. We were so happy to start a family of our own together as my fiancé already has 2 boys of his own, now ages 8 and 9. I had minor complications during my pregnancy but delivery was over 48 hrs and our sweet Bryson James Green was born weighing 5lbs 6oz and took months to outgrow preemie clothes. He was so so tiny but the most precious and sweet baby boy. We had the most amazing 3 months of loving him and slowly watching him grow. He had a little cold that started on 11/26/18 so I scheduled an appointment with his pediatrician for the morning of 11/28/18. When I woke up at 5:30am, instead of getting us ready for his appointment, we were performing CPR and hopelessly waiting for our baby to come back to us. The paramedics were so comforting during the entire process and at 6:05am we were told the most horrifying words any parent could hear, “we are so sorry. Time of death 6:05am”.
6 days after Thanksgiving and a few days shy of a month before Christmas, our baby was gone forever.
I wish I could have warned him.. he went to sleep after mommy fed him and woke up without his mommy or daddy.. he woke up in Jesus’ arms instead of mine.
I hope he knows how loved he was and how missed he is everyday. I hope he knows that we would have done ANYTHING to save him if we would have just woke up a few hours earlier.. Bryson James, mommy and daddy love and miss you beyond words. Your brothers still talk about you and wish to see you again 💔
I hope you’re resting peacefully my sweet angel. I can’t wait to hold you in my arms again. 💙 👼
